Topic: Welcome to all martial art fans
This message board is open to anyone who wishes to express their opinions on martials.

I've only been doing karate (GKR) since Oct' 03 and started Wing Chun in Mar '04.

Why two styles? I originally started karate because the dojo was a local one but then in Mar '04 I went to Melbourne to work and I didnt like the Dojo there so I joined a different school althogether.

In my opinion, Wing Chun is the better system (anyone doing karate longer than I have can dispute me).

Yeah, I can't believe that there isnt a martials group except for 2 TKD groups before I started this!

I think Kendo is cool - I used to train TKD at uni and straight after our class was a kendo club and we always see them putting on their armour and stuff :)

Hey, Martial Arts is my life. I enjoy all martial arts that I have studied, but Northern Shaolin Gung-Fu is my concentration.

hey, you must be the only other caribbean in this group :D so what other martial arts did you study?? i studied shotokan karate for about 6 years and i'm getting ready to start tkd in the fall.

i'm an avid fan, but pretty bad student, cross train in various stuff...

i'm in singapore, annnnd appreciate it if anyone here can tell me about a good class or teacher here...

always good to find out more.
